Jean-Bernard Trotzier, born in 1950 in Hayange, Moselle, is a renowned painter known for his typical scenes, landscapes, and marine art. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Metz, he is distinguished by his depictions of rural scenes, farmers in the fields, lively farms, as well as views of Paris and Venice. His highly sought-after works are created en plein air, using a technique of brushstrokes and glazing that gives his paintings a unique depth.
Trotzier has exhibited in numerous French cities such as Paris, Nantes, Strasbourg, Lille, Honfleur, Reims, and Metz, as well as internationally in Japan, Germany, the United States, and Switzerland.
