Important bronze representing the faun with cymbals after the statue preserved in the museum of the offices.
Our bronze here is of very beautiful craftsmanship with meticulous care given to the chiseling. The visa is graceful and smiling, its small horns point on its forehead.
It dates from the end of the 19th century and is inspired by the souvenir objects of the Grand Tour. Italian work of beautiful quality it has a round travertine base.
The patina is out of the ordinary with a matte green excavation patina.
We therefore have the impression of having a bronze freshly updated in an archaeological site.
An original patina that changes from the usual acids or waxes.
Attention it is large.
