Very beautiful original fashion sketch in pencil, ink, watercolor and gouache, signed "Marg", on paper (276 x 180 mm) with letterhead "Maison Paul Poiret - Société Anonyme, 1, rond-Point des Champs-Elysées - 43, avenue Victor-Emmanuel III, Paris (8th)", undated [between 1925 (date of opening at this address) and 1929 (date of final closure)].
Small hole in the upper left corner, due to old stapling, very good condition otherwise.
It represents a model for Maison Paul Poiret with handwritten annotations:
On the front: "Tourterelle" "not in gray" "could add to this dress a very handsome cream tulle collar"
On the back: "Madame Dodge. Very good with little alteration for madame Dodge".
