Painter of Breton origin, passionate about the sea, he settled in the eastern Pyrenees following lung problems encountered during the Great War, treated at Amélie-les-Bains as a soldier, he discovered and painted the hinterland as well as the Mediterranean coast. Here painting on plywood with a dedication located on the back "old tanneries Prades study". This landscape is centered on the panel, with a trompe l'oeil Marie Louise painted in beige. Signed lower left
