18th Century Italian Religious Painting, Annunciation

Antique Italian painting from the first half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a sacred art subject, Annunciation, of excellent pictorial quality. Painting that develops vertically, finely painted in the smallest details. Fabulous and well preserved is the representation of Mary on the right with one hand on her lap. At the top left the Archangel Gabriel announces the birth of Jesus and in the top center we find angels and cherubs and a shining dove representing the Holy Spirit. Painting that has numerous color losses (see photo), has recently undergone a consolidation intervention, relining and replacement of the frame. Very pleasant are the decorations of the cloth on which rests a book with a lectern and vase with flowers at the bottom center (see photo). Painting in beautiful patina, to be completed as a restoration or to be preserved and admired in its current state. Internal size H 135 x W 99.5 cm.
