"Teak Armchair By Michel Ducaroy For Sna Roset, France, 1952"
In the 1950s, French designer Michel Ducaroy designed this remarkable lounge chair, part of his very first collection produced by his own house, SNA Roset. This creation embodies both the understated elegance and functional modernity that would mark all of his work. The chair's open structure, with its soft, clean lines, gives it an airy look. The seat and back are upholstered in hexagonal cane webbing. The subtly curved armrests and slim, tapered legs highlight the balance and delicacy of this model. Designed to offer comfort and lightness, it seduces with its cantilevered backrest and enveloping seat, with a beautiful wood patina. In perfect original condition, with the exception of the cane, which has been completely restored using traditional woven cane methods by IDDA craftsmen. This meticulous work restores the piece to its nobility, combining authenticity and craftsmanship.
