"Renaissance Period Sideboard With Four Seasons Decor."
Very rare Renaissance period walnut sideboard from the Loire Valley. The four doors feature carvings decorated with the four seasons. The drawer is decorated, in the center, with a lion's head in the round holding a pull ring in its mouth. The head is framed by two black marble plaques inlaid in the cabinet. There is also a black marble plaque on the upper crosspiece of the cabinet, framed by two angel heads in the round. The columns and half-columns of the upper part were added in the 19th century. There is also an old restoration on the left part of the top.
