In 1973, he moved to Port-au-Prince, capital of HAITI, where he began to make collages from dried banana leaves. In 1980, he became a major painter of the Haitian naive pictorial current and began at the Galerie Monnin. He refined his style characterized by dozens of characters in a monochrome landscape.
