Solid walnut fireplace mantel from the Louis XVI period.
Sober and chic wood carving with fluted legs, and a band carved with geometric motifs with acanthus leaves, a Greek frieze and a flowered urn vase in the center.
Walnut top and sides.
Good general condition, one side in walnut formerly bitten by insects but together treated.
To be used as a fireplace mantel, console or by putting shelves, possible transformation into an original bookcase.
