Wooden grip covered with gray shagreen and a double braided silver filigree. Plate hallmarked with the "B" under the star of Inspector EL Borson, August 1814 to September 1816, from the Klingenthal Manufactory, and with a "B" under a fleur-de-lis in a circle of rings, hallmark of JG Bick used during the First Restoration from April 1814 to March 1815. 93.5 cm long blade, with hollow sides, engraved with a trophy of arms, two fleurs-de-lis and the inscription "KING'S BODYGUARDS. » on one side, and on the other side, a trophy of the Arms of France and the radiant sun with its face. Back engraved « Manufre Rle du Klingenthal December 1814 ». It is hallmarked on the heel with the « B » under the star of Inspector EL Borson, August 1814 to September 1816, and the « B » framed by laurel branches of Controller 1st Class JG Bick, 1812 to May 1815.
