paintings depict two still lifes with flowers, placed in bronze vases of the
“kantharoi” type. The painting technique, particularly accurate in the
definition of the flowers and details, is distinguished by great care and
precision. The use of chiaroscuro is also notable, giving depth and realism to
the scenes. These paintings of great class and elegance are capable of
tastefully furnishing any environment. They are attributed to an anonymous
painter of Neapolitan origin, from the early 19th century.
