Bronze bas-relief representing the composer Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868). It is signed at the bottom "H. Chevalier" It is the French sculptor Jacques-Hyancinthe Chevalier (1825-1895) It represents the famous composer in the manner of antique medallions with a laurel wreath as a symbol of glory. The medallion is in very good condition. And has a beautiful patina of use.
