"Door Tapestry "
We present this door tapestry that we believe to be from Aubusson with two birds (waders) in a landscape, it is quite complete with all its border, it is certainly from the 17th century because the weaving is relatively coarse. Aubusson begins in 1501 and they reached perfection in the 18th century by being inspired by the great painters Watteau, Fragonard, gallant scenes using painted cartoons. Ours is coarser so for us earlier. Good condition and complete with its border. (E25)
