Set of 2 fantastic hand-carved wooden eagle sculptures. Appear to have been part of a piece of furniture or an architectural feature in a church, for example. Originating in France, early 19th / late 18th century. The claws are broken at the feet.

Very decorative. Could be used as a lamp base, with a shade on top. As candlesticks, or to rework in an interior.
