"Miniature Level Morin-boyelle, C. 1900"
The simplest and smallest of the telescope levelsRare miniature model of a Boyelle-Morin level with dioptric collimator. According to the Morin catalog 1910-1911, page 15: "This model is the simplest of all the levels; its use is the fastest. It consists of a telescope with a dioptric collimator, that is to say a double collimator. The horizontal wire can therefore be seen as much by one end of the telescope as by the other, which allows the instrument to be turned over and double reading. A level placed below this telescope gives it horizontality. The whole is returned by a very simple system composed of a return screw and a curved spring. The instrument is mounted on a socket with horizontal movement in the center and is placed on an ordinary square stake." The instrument is in near new condition, and works perfectly.
