Elegant glove box in birch burl with rich openwork and guilloché brass ornamentation. Atypical decoration since it mixes Neo-Gothic and Napoleon III. Slightly domed lid with the monogram "AL" in its center. Interior in padded blue silk. Napoleon III period. 19th century. Please note: this glove box is in good general condition. Small lack of brass at the right end of the central cartouche. Small losses at the base at both ends at the front. The key is not original and is only decorative. Wear from use and time.
