Pair Of Regency Style Candelabras 1830

Description:
Chiseled bronze, ormoulu.
These candelabras consist of a wide ogee base surrounded by a frieze of arabesques and foliage on a pitted background. The eight-sided shaft is decorated with reserves showing profiles of emperors and patricians, as well as vertical symbolic motifs.
The three light arms are in the typical design of Regency lighting fixtures, nails on pitting, acanthus leaves, socket set in a counter-volute.
The sockets are in Medici with a smooth body , and I added old glass "bobêches" .
A finial of crushed balls surrounded by friezes and flame tops these fixtures. A count's coat of arms is engraved on the base, indicating an order.
The excellent quality of this work comes from a great maker, moreover the assembly (two-hole dome nut) and the work are close to a silver goldsmith's light fixture, we will also note the deep and frank chiseling. Even in style, candelabras of this quality are very rare.
Condition: Perfect condition, intact ormoulu.
