"Louis XVI Period Chest Of Drawers "
Louis XVI period chest of drawers in rosewood and violet wood, from the Château de Baccarat. On the front, two centrally opening doors elegantly conceal three drawers, decorated with keyholes decorated with waves and falling leaves, circular laurel wreath pull handles, as well as corner clasps decorated with falling leaves and bases. The fern marquetry on the front is highlighted by an elegant French polish applied to the entire chest of drawers. It rests at the front on two spinning top feet ending in sabots. The top is topped with its original 30 mm Saint Anne gray marble with a groove cut at the back with a step. The interior is fitted with two shelves. Stamped on the top of the front feet Nicolas PETIT, received master in 1761 as well as the hallmark of jurande JME.
