Beautiful Louis XV period commode or convenience seat, in beech. The richly carved sides and front rest on four arched legs. The molded backrest, decorated with a sculpture, is upholstered in canework. The caned seat reveals a compartment intended to receive the commode (depth 20 cm). 18th century. Trace of stamp on the back of the backrest. W/D/H: 49 X 51 X 94 cm. W/D/H of the seat: 49 X 39 X 43 cm.
