"Alsatian, German Tin Dish?"
Pewter dish from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, origin to be determined (Alsatian, German). Dish engraved on its entire surface. Decoration in the center of a sunflower-type flower. Peripheral friezes and rush. Ownership monogram: MVR. It is triple hallmarked, but hallmarks very difficult to read: 2 angels who seem to be holding hands in an oval cartouche, vertical line separating the 2 angels. Hallmark to be identified. Very good condition. Diameter 38 cm
