"Pair Of Large Decorative Vases In The Chinese Style, 20th Century"
A superb pair of decorative crackled ceramic vases, decorated with hand-painted court scenes in underglaze cobalt blue tones. The decoration features traditional figures in a stylized landscape, typical of Chinese aesthetics. Each vase is embellished with handles in the shape of dragon or lion heads holding metal rings. The shades of yellow, brown, and blue harmonize elegantly, highlighting the careful ceramic work. Incised mark on the reverse, probably that of the workshop or maker. Height: 71 cm Condition: Good overall condition, no cracks or restorations. Natural age-related glaze cracks.
