"Empire Period Clock By Pierre-françois Feucher (1737-1823) At The Blue Room Of The White House"
A gilt bronze clock circa 1820 depicting the Carthaginian general Hannibal Barca (after his victory at the Battle of Cannae in Italy in 216 BC) by Pierre-François Feucher (1737-1823). This work is kept in the Blue Room of the White House (Washington, DC, USA)

Another notable clock in the Blue Room is the "Hannibal Clock," made around 1817 by the French bronze founders Denière and Matelin. This clock, depicting the Carthaginian general Hannibal, was purchased by President James Monroe and is part of the room's historic furnishings. More information about this clock can be found on the White House Historical Association website.
