Zoomorphic tailor's iron Period 18th century. Iron with removable handle by a rotating mechanism with gripping ring and hook. The decoration of this handle represents a snake. The 2 eyes are visible in the proximal part. The tail ends in a coil in the distal part. The sole is solid and tapered. It has two hoops into which the handle is inserted. Iron in very good condition Weight 4.5 kg Length 20 cm, width 5.5 cm, height 16.5 cm
