This beautiful and decorative pair of candlesticks in finely chiseled and mercury-gilded bronze stands out for its elegance. These candlesticks are beautifully decorated with palmettes and flower baskets, and the circular bases are beautifully chiselled with palmettes, quivers, chickadees, garlands of flowers and roses, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship.
A fine example of French Restauration period work, circa 1820-1830, these candlesticks perfectly illustrate the style and quality of this era. Their refined design and meticulous details make them ideal pieces to enhance any elegant interior.

In excellent condition, these candlesticks retain their beautiful period gilding with some minor wear that adds to their authentic charm. They have been converted into lamps and are adorned with beautiful new pale yellow silk shades with gold interiors.
