A high-quality, late 19th-century Victorian period red-brown leather full-button wing armchair in the George III style. The substantial, well-shaped frame features a deep-buttoned upholstered seat, back, and arms, all covered in the original red-brown leather. The chair boasts scrolling arms, a sprung seat, and close-nailed brass stud detailing. It is raised on square tapering legs with H-frame stretchers. The chair has a beautiful, untouched color and rich patination, and it is very comfortable.The seat height is 47cm.In very good original condition, this armchair offers both comfort and aesthetic charm.
