Pretty 1920 brooch forming a crescent moon paved with diamonds in 750/1000 gold and silver. The piece is numbered (2788) and bears the jeweler's hallmark of André Candas (A, ace of clubs and C) and several eagle's head hallmarks. Weight 11.8 grams, dimensions 38mm. André Candas was established at 12 rue Sainte Anne in Paris, he had inscribed his hallmark on June 4, 1920 and had crossed it out in 1925 with the initials AC, Symbol Ace of clubs. He worked with René Boivin, Jacques Candas and worked for many greats, such as Mellerio, but also for Meister in Zurich and many others.
