Letter of convocation of the assembly of the canton of Gisors signed by Bonaparte 1st Consul. Dated 15 Pluviose year 12 (February 5, 1804) a little before the senatus consulte of the month of May proclaiming Napoleon Bonaparte Emperor followed by the coronation at Notre Dame on December 2, 1804. This letter asks the citizen president of the canton to execute the senatus consulte and decrees of the government. Very beautiful autograph signature of Bonaparte. Very good condition.
