Set of 4 stained glass windows painted in grisaille, enamels and silver yellows on cathedral glass in the neo-Gothic style depicting cabaret scenes surrounded by a red net. Original wooden frame. Signed E.HAUSSAIRE PARIS LILLEOriginally from Reims, the Haussaire family is made up of sculptors, carpenters but above all master glassmakers including François (1851-1924) and Louis-Ernest. Ernest founded a workshop in Lille, "Haussaire frères" in 1892, while his brother François opened a Parisian workshop on rue Bonaparte. Ernest signed these panels; he created the stained glass windows for most of the private houses of this period and the stained glass windows for many religious buildings in the Lille region.
