Louis XV Period: Black Lacquer, Gold And Silver Pin Box, Exotic Decor

Antique wooden pin box, painted with varnish, black lacquer, and bistre, gold and silver decoration, superb landscapes, a little faded in places. *
Hinges, lid knob, keyhole are very neat, from cut, chiseled and gilded brass, top has a cushion covered from red silk to stick wig or headdress pins, a key that does not work,
French work, mid-18th century, an antique toiletry item, in original, unrestored condition, particularly nice.
Dimensions: 7ins x 4ins x 4ins, = 17cm x 10cm x 10cm.
Condition: Fairly Good.
