"Louis XV Period Two-part Glass Buffet "
Elegant double-body sideboard in cherry and solid oak. This model is glazed in the upper part (the windows are original). The doors are medallion types: they are molded on the uprights as well. The cornice is in the shape of a gendarme's hat, which gives lightness to the sideboard. The lower doors follow the same curved movement as the cornice. The scallop shell, typical of Louis XV, is present in the upper and lower crosspiece. The front uprights are rounded and molded. The doors are mounted with lace pins. The interiors are cleaned and glazed, the patina is made with beeswax. Furniture of good quality, having survived the centuries without damage.
