Copy number 137 of this account of a tiger hunt during a trip of the Duke of Orléans (Pilippe d'Orléans 1869-1926) to Asia. Autograph dedication signed "to my dear Amélie, souvenir from a tenderly devoted brother". Emblazoned bookplate and stamp of Marie Amélie Louise Hélène d'Orléans (1865-1951), wife of Charles I of Portugal, Queen of Portugal (1889) and sister of the author. Rubbed crowns and corners, some foxing, otherwise good condition. 27.5cm X 19.5cm
