Founded in 1903, Gentil & Bourdet was awarded Grand Prix in the Great Exhibitions of London (1908), Brussels (1910) and Ghent (1913). It featured in the Paris Arts Deco Exhibition of 1925, and was again distinguished in the Colonial Exhibition in Paris of 1931.
