The Doge Table by Cassina, designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1968, is an icon of Italian design and represents a manifesto of the "Ultrarazionale" movement, which aimed to overcome the limits of rationalism by recovering the aesthetic values of tradition. This table was the first product with which Simon by Cassina began its activity in 1968 .
