"Miniature Enamel On Porcelain"
Miniature painted and enameled on porcelain in the form of a medallion, early 20th century. A young woman is represented in bust and three-quarter view, very natural. Her short, curly hair is not dressed, her face is not made up and she does not wear jewelry, only a black velvet choker. She is dressed in a dark coat with a fur collar which reveals a blue shirt edged with lace. Her face with a fair complexion is luminous and her blue gaze a little melancholic. The treatment of this portrait is impressionist which gives it this natural charm. Gilded brass frame. 10X8cm Good condition.
