"Transition Period Sauteuse Chest Of Drawers - Circa 1760"
Magnificent chest of drawers called "sauteuse" from the transition period, around 1750-1760. Rare top in marquetry wood and not marble. Original rocaille bronzes. The marquetry of rosewood, lemon tree fillets and elm burl is absolutely sublime, and gives a beautiful luminosity to this piece of furniture thanks to the light wood species. This chest of drawers has passed through our restoration workshops: no work is required. A drawer bottom has been replaced, otherwise everything is from the 18th century. Small dimensions: 100 (W) x 48 (D) x 78 (H) cm Ideal to place in a pretty 18th century living room or in a bedroom.
