Painter born in 1933, friend of Georges Brassens who encouraged him to paint. It was his friend Georges Brassens who offered him his first blank canvases. Colorful seascapes and a seductive transcription of the landscapes of the Corbières. The works of Eric Battista are presented in galleries in France and abroad, and appear in several museums. The port of Séte in the warm colors of the south is an oil on paper mounted on canvas. Signed lower left.
