"Virgin And Child In Italian Faience, Urbino, Naples Nevers Style, Saint In Majesty, 19th Century"
Antique polychrome earthenware Virgin and Child. The saint is depicted seated in majesty. Very beautiful yellow and blue color. The decorative motifs (black spirals on blue) are very similar to the designs found in certain Italian majolica (notably from Urbino, Faenza or Castelli). 31cm high. In good condition, note an old restoration at the base.
