Splendid ebonized wooden coin cabinet with bone inlays.
Liguria, early 17th century.
The two doors feature bone inlays depicting an oval shield coat of arms with a scroll frame of a three-spoked gentleman.
The coat of arms is surrounded by a charming square frame, also in bone, engraved with plant motifs.
Inside the two doors there is a space divided into two horizontal shelves.
Under the two doors, the two drawers feature four bone plaques engraved with rural scenes.
The conditions are good, with some filling and restoration.
The hinges and the stop of the left door are original, while the key and lock are from the 19th century.
