Episcopal sealOval reliquary frame from the 19th century, containing several relics of saints carefully arranged on a red velvet background.

Description:

The whole is richly decorated with gilded filigree ornaments, forming a large central stylized cross, surmounted in its center by a star decorated with cut glass beads.Each relic is identified by a handwritten cartouche and is arranged around the cross:
St Augustine - St Paul - St Anthony - St Martin - St Victorin - St Peter - St Bonaventure - St Hilary
The reliquary is entirely sealed at the back by an intact red wax seal, surmounted by a crossed red cord, authenticating the integrity of the object.

Condition:

Very good general condition for its age. Velvet slightly patinated. Original curved glass in excellent condition. Perfectly preserved wax seal.
