Two Fragments of Coptic "clavii". The shorter one has geometric patterns and quadrupeds in medallions. Work from the 5th century AD Linen and wool 30x6cm The longer one is composed of geometric patterns, stylized bird heads and dozens of circles. At the ends, a red circle surrounded by stylized bird heads and at the bottom an owl. Work from the 4th century AD. 34x7cm The fragments have been affixed to a modern linen fabric. In a modern frame.
