Great post-Cubist painting titled below "The two friends" with, top right, sending an illegible and unreadable signature, dated 1949. The face of the young woman sitting resumed oval Picasso faces. Around his face, vase and mirror were treated in the spirit of André Lhote. At his feet, the entablature strangely similar to the compositions of Georges Braque. On the right, the curtain is comparable studies for fabrics of Sonia Delaunay. The young woman is standing, she treated in a much more modern style, making the artitste wanted to show his work in the changing currents of painting, here represented by youth. tempera painting technique textured.
