"Clock Bronze Woman Allegory Knowledge Elder Menard Empire XIXth"
Ormolu clock finely chiseled and mahogany veneer, decorated with a woman reading, a globe resting on a column surrounded by referring to the knowledge tools, the rectangular base is decorated with a foliage garland stylized Elder Ménard signed in Paris, vintage First Empire early nineteenth century. This clock is in good condition. The cock movement does not work it will be revised. A note: shortages of wood and split the wood at the base (see red arrows), it lacks a needle on the dial, the decoration on the top of the base moves slightly, the dial of the base is dislocated slightly, floral wreath dial the base moves a little and suffered a slight shock (see red arrows).
