Pair of coolers, eighteenth century, silver metal. Pair of silver metal coolers with handles and beaded rim. Both handles are shaped like stylized acanthus leaf. In the eighteenth century, to serve cold drinks to guests, it was customary to cool glasses and bottles in buckets filled with ice. They were arranged on the console or the service. Wear silvering. Sun (H x W x D). 18 x 23 x 19 cm.
