"Silver Vermeil Empire Period Covered 1798-1809 Armorié"
Here is a rare cover of Empire period including a fork and spoon in vermeil. Punches date being in 1798 for the first rooster and 1809 for the lists. Its sumptuous carving hand, you've got a covered very refined, as that may have been produced by the great goldsmiths of Napoleon Bonaparte, Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot or Martin Guillaume Biennais. I have not managed to identify the visible goldsmith punch in the final image, but it is undoubtedly a great goldsmith who fashioned it for a large family. The sets of pears and grapes make me assume it is a covered dessert or an individual cover (or cover of this trip). The length of the range is 18.5 cm, 19.5 cm for the spoon. The net weight of the whole is 141 gr.
