Beautiful pair of sconces quiver with two branches gilt bronze Louis XVI. The stem consists of a ribbon bow quite neoclassical supporting a sort of quiver with twisted grooves laden with flowers ending in acanthus pellets. From his side emerge both finely crafted sconces. Sconces to quiver flowers of the same model, with three branches, are shown in Pavlovsk Imperial Palace in Russia, and obviously were part of Maria Feodorovna purchases and future Paul I of Russia during their visit in France under the name of North Earl and Countess in 1783. another pair is conserved castle Moncley (Doubs).
