"Oval Room Table, End Of The Louis XV"
oval coffee table attributed to the cabinetmaker Jean-Pierre Dusautoy plated rosewood, boxwood fillets, white marble top, bronze ornamentation (re-gilded) end of the Louis XV. The coffee table has a top of white Carrara marble surrounded by an openwork gallery gilded bronze. It opens with three drawers concealed in the box drum with an oval with perfect geometry. This case rests on four legs elongated console, a relative rigidity protester taste Transition mode that gradually gives way to the straight. Between the legs is disposed a pressed tablet. The feet are finished in hooves gilded bronze.
