Height: 65 cm
Rare statue regulates representative "Mireille" after the model presentation on the place Mireille Saintes Maries de la Mer in June 1913.
This heroin Frédéric Mistral is shown as a pathetic and painful picture by the artist: "Mireille staggering, struck insolation in the stony desert of Crau, walking towards the church of Saintes Maries de la Mer."
This statue was pulled in a limited number of which few have survived today. In 1913, the statue was proposed for the sum of 120 francs with the possibility to add a green or red marble plinth for an additional 15 francs.
Our statue is a model without the additional option of marble base, it has its original patina with some slight wear what makes its charm.
