"Amédée Rosier, St. Address In Normandy View From Around 1852 Drawing"
Charming drawing of a view of Sainte-Adresse in Normandy. The drawing is accurate and can see very clearly the buildings. The building right has the form of a Stupa but it is the Sugarloaf erected in 1852 by the widow of General Lefebvre-Comte Desnouettes. This detail allows the drawing dated to 1852 as it is possible to see the scaffolding of construction. graphite on paper. Stamp of the workshop on the bottom left. Some foxing. Dimensional view: 14.2 x 21.2 cm dimensions with frame: 30 x 38 cm
