Delphin Enjolras (1857 1945) was a student of the watercolorist Gaston Gérard at the drawing schools of the city of Paris, of Jean Leon Gérôme at the Beaux Arts. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists of which he had been a member since 1901. He had a very abundant production, in particular of young girls in their daily occupations, often in their toilets, he also devoted himself to still life.
