Provençal Time Empire Mirror

Large Provençal mirror from the Directoire period from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century with a finely carved and leaf-gilded wooden structure presenting an openwork pediment with arrow motifs, woven basket, foliage and flowers. The frame is decorated with palmettes and rosettes applied to an ogee molding decorated at the shoulder with stylized trimmings. Mercury glass and original rear parquet. Good condition, beautiful gilding, note alterations to the silvery color of the mirror. Dimensions: 1.30 m high x 67 cm wide.
